About me

Multi-award winning creative director with experience in a range of markets including Australia, UK, Denmark and Singapore. A leader and partner in a diverse variety of agencies from both large multinational to small independent start-ups that have achieved outstanding success. With intelligence, passion, good taste, sound judgment and a great eye I can collaborate, lead and motivate multi-disciplined teams and inspire clients and suppliers to create outstanding, effective advertising campaigns and projects across multiple channels.

I have won multiple awards at every major international award show including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, LIA, Creative Review Annual, AWARD, The Work, Caxtons (Ros Quinlivan Black pencil and 2 x campaigns of the year), Grand Prix Epica Advertising Annual, Effies.

As Creative Partner and Head of Art I helped transform DDB Sydney’s creative output and reputation, winning dozens of local and international awards including Cannes, One Show, London International and being awarded AWARD creative agency of the year 2021 and for the first time in two decades, the agency rose to the ranking of Australia’s #1 creative agency in 2018 by Campaign Brief. In 2019 the agency was ranked number 2, narrowly missing out on repeating the honour.

In 2018 DDB were named Campaign Brief Creative agency of the year. I have been creative lead on the agencies most award-winning and largest accounts, including McDonald’s, Westpac, Coles, Expedia and Volkswagen.

Prior to joining DDB Sydney, I was Executive Creative Director at Host Singapore winning numerous new business pitches and was a regular contributor to Campaign Asia magazine.

Previous to my stint in Asia, I was Creative Director and Partner at The Monkeys, Sydney. During my 4 year tenure at The Monkeys, I oversaw dynamic growth within the agency from 10 employees to become the largest independent creative agency in Australia with over 90 employees. My time there coincided with many creative highlights including being awarded Gold at the Clio and Effie awards and being selected at every other major award show including D&AD, One Show and AWARD. The Monkeys were named Campaign Brief NSW Creative Agency of the Year, Australian Creative magazine’s top ‘Creative Hot Shop’ and B&T magazine’s advertising agency of the year two years in a row. In 2011, my ‘Ship Song Project’ campaign for Sydney Opera House was named B&T’s campaign of the year and Australian Creative magazine’s Ad of the year as well being awarded Grand Prix and Gold at the Australasian Branded Entertainment Awards.

Prior to joining The Monkeys, I worked at DDB London, creating numerous award-winning campaigns for iconic brands including Harvey Nichols, Volkswagen and Marmite and helping DDB London rank third at the 2008 Cannes Advertising Festival.

In 2019 I am the #1 most featured creative globally on the Best Ads on TV website. UK Campaign magazine selected my work as one of the ten best UK press campaigns of the decade. I have been named as one of the top 40 under 40 industry figures in Australian Advertising and media by AdNews magazine. In 2008, I was awarded Grand Prix in the Epica Advertising annual and in 2007, was the world’s most featured Art Director in Luerzer's Archive Magazine. I have written published articles for Campaign Asia and Australian Creative magazine.
